Well, they say “in for a penny, in for a pound”…. So I shut my eyes and spent lots of pounds – well, OK, it was dollars – on a large format printer so that I could print my own photographs. It’s a monster piece of kit sitting on my desk – yes, on a boat – but it does a good job. My first 11 x 14 prints, framed to 16 x 20, are on display at the SF Women Artists Gallery for their September show. Opening reception is Thursday September 9 from 5:30 to 7.
Crab Pots grabbed my eye while walking near the docks in Half Moon Bay; Heavy Metal is a close-up of some of the ‘stuff’ on a barge off of San Francisco’s Pier 54.
