So it’s been a busy week. Proofs arrived; a few corrections made; shipment of 50 books arrived; found a couple of teeny typos, but maybe that will make them more valuable like old postage stamps! First release party is set for Sunday at the 7 Mile House in Brisbane during their jazz jam. Looks like LOTS of people are coming! The following Sunday I get to introduce the book during a concert at Bird & Beckett Books in SF – one of the few indie bookstores still existing – and this one has jazz and other live music twice a week! And 90% of the profit goes to the bookstore, so it makes me feel like I’m giving something back.
It’s been such a fun project!
